Goal

The goal is to finish the race without dropping the egg.

Eggs: To avoid a mess, use hard-boiled eggs.
Spoons: One spoon for each player.
A raceline is a line that marks the starting and finishing points.

Set up

Define the race course. Mark the start and finish lines to ensure that players have a reasonable distance to run.

Rules

Every participant stands at the start line clutching a spoon with an egg on top.
Go! Players dash to the finish line when the signal is given—for example, a whistle.
Balancing the egg requires players to keep it on the spoon while running. If an egg falls, players must stop, pick it up, and return it to the spoon before proceeding.
Winning: The first player who crosses the finish line with the egg still on the spoon wins!
